SemanticPrism Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 5, 2026

This policy explains how SemanticPrism handles information. SemanticPrism is a local-first iOS app from Context Jamming for transforming research material into editorial and dashboard deliverables.

Short version: SemanticPrism does not run a Context Jamming account service, does not sell personal data, and does not store your AI provider keys outside the iOS Keychain. Your research content is sent only to the AI provider you choose when you run a transform.

Information You Provide

The app stores project names, research input, generated deliverables, edits, versions, provider selections, model names, and exported dashboard content on your device using Apple platform storage. API keys are stored in the iOS Keychain.

AI Provider Requests

When you run a transform or refinement, SemanticPrism sends the relevant prompt and research content to the provider you selected: Anthropic, Gemini, OpenAI, or a local OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Those providers process requests under their own terms and privacy policies. SemanticPrism does not route those requests through a Context Jamming server.

Local Providers

If you choose the local provider option, requests are sent to the OpenAI-compatible base URL you configure, such as a local Ollama or LM Studio server. The privacy behavior of that endpoint depends on your local setup.

Exports

Dashboard exports are self-contained HTML files. You control where exported files are saved or shared from your device.

Diagnostics and Support

If you email support, the email address, message, and any screenshots or files you choose to include will be used to respond to your request. Do not send API keys or confidential research material in support email unless you intentionally choose to do so.

Children

SemanticPrism is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect analytics in this version.
  • We do not collect advertising identifiers.
  • We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.
  • We do not store provider API keys in UserDefaults, SwiftData, logs, or Context Jamming servers.
